He learned the script, he played the part
a quiet boy with careful art
Each step rehearsed, each word restrained
his world was built on walls of pain

They told him, this is how you stand
This is how you meet a hand
This is how a man should be
Strong and manly, wild yet free

Yet freedom came with iron bars
unspoken rules and hidden scars
He wore the mask, he bore the weight
and learned young the cost of fate

He tried to rise, to jump, to turn
but every path went to a return
Each thought that grew was seldom crushed
Each voice he raised was told to hush

But ruptures appear in hearts so gall
and even empires learn to fall
One voice can shake a hollow throne
One step can break the paths of stone
