Mankind fell to the earth as an inadequate seed,
And slowly rose in the darkness.
As the refracted beam of light illuminates the green leaves,
The little sapling's head slightly straightened.
The roots embraced the silent earth,
The greening was painful,
The storms howled, the thunder rumbled,
Still, it reached out to touch the sky.
When the roots grow strong and the trunk thickens,
Arrogance settled in its heart one night.
It climbed still higher, blind to fate
Unaware of what lay in wait.
Strong branches reaching to the sky,
Did not satisfy mankind.
This time, nature used the force to take its revenge
And scold the people for their cupidity.
Dread came like a great tsunami wave,
And it struck down humanity in a single blow.
The fall of humanity was as rapid as its rise.
A tale whispered by the wind, forgotten by time.
